South Korea, located in East Asia, has an area of 100,410 km2.

South Korea, with a population of 51,736,000 people, is in position 28 in the population table, made up of 196 countries and has a high population density, with 515 inhabitants per Km2.

Its capital is Seoul and its currency is South Korean won.

South Korea is the 14th economy by volume of GDP. Its public debt in 2022 was €854,582 million, with a debt of 53.8% of GDP. Its debt per capita is €16,518 per inhabitant.

The last annual variation rate of the CPI published in South Korea is from March 2024 and was 3.1%.

GDP per capita is a very good indicator of the standard of living and in the case of South Korea, in 2023, it was €30,594 euros, which is why it is ranked 38th out of 196 countries in the GDP per capita ranking.
